Jonathan Gasthalter is Managing Partner of Gasthalter & Co.
For 25 years, Jonathan has developed and implemented communications strategies for leading global private investment firms and public companies. He has significant expertise advising leading global hedge funds, private equity, real estate, credit, venture and asset management firms, banks and financial services companies.
Over the course of his career, he has developed and executed corporate positioning, profile raising and reputation management programs. Additionally, he has advised numerous investment firms and companies on a variety of special situations, including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism, IPOs, complex litigation and regulatory matters, and succession planning.
Prior to founding Gasthalter & Co., Jonathan was a partner at Sard Verbinnen & Co. Earlier in his career, he served as a press aide in the Executive Offices of the New York State Attorney General.
Jonathan serves as an advisor to the Managed Funds Association and is an expert on alternative industry matters.
He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Union College.
